FLOPLAST V250 250mm Vented Soffit 5m White
Vented soffit boards are used as an alternative to other methods of roof ventilation to ensure that there is an adequate flow of air through the roof space. As one of the most popular types of soffit, they alleviate any condensation build up which if untreated can lead to damage to the roof timbers and walls in the rooms below the eaves.
Vented soffits are available in a range of widths between 100mm and 440mm (depending upon the colour).
The size of the vents in the board is small enough to prevent wasp and bee ingress into the roof.
This ventilation is equivalent to 10mm² airflow. If preferred, ventilation can be created by using over fascia vents and unvented soffit boards.
