Russell Bute Concrete Roof Tile

The Bute is a thinner leading edge flat interlocking tile which is laid broken bond and gives the appearance of a small format tile or traditional plain tile, with the commercial benefit of a larger format tile.

The Bute is part of The Natural Range - a series of thinner leading edge tiles with either a smooth face, riven finish, or mock joint format. These all give a different natural slate or clay appearance.

More planners and developers are recognising the cost-saving benefits that can be achieved through using Bute, thanks to its extended headlap which allows for a smaller tile format appearance. Bute is unique in that it offers the versatility of concrete and the benefits of greater strength, while also providing the authentic appearance of slate, clay and stone roofs.

All Russell Roof Tiles are Manufactured in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 490 “Concrete Roof Tiles and Fittings-Product specifications” and BS EN 491 “Concrete Roof Tiles and Fitting-Test Methods”.
