Ideal for providing a streamlined, smooth finish to a recessed window that is fitted 40mm deeper into the roof structure for less overhang above the roofline, this VELUX Pro+ EDN 2000 recessed slate flashing set provides a weathertight finish with effective drainage of rainwater.

The EDN single recessed flashing is suitable for installing one roof window into a maximum of 8mm thick slate, roofing felt or membranes at a roof pitch between 20° and 90°. Easy to install and manufactured using corrosion-proof material, this flashing has a lacquered grey aluminium finish. For recessed installation heights, you should fit the brackets at the sides of the window frame. They should sit in level with the blue line.

Including an insulation collar (BDX) that insulates around the roof window frame, this flashing reduces heat loss and eliminates cold bridges. The underfelt collar (BFX) also makes a seal between the roof and the roof window that is watertight.
